Developer Agreement

This agreement applies to developers and organisations that build integrations, connectors, or applications against Yinetai APIs, exports, or webhooks (the "Developer Tools"). Using the Developer Tools means you accept these terms together with our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Access and credentials

• API access is granted per organisation. Keys and tokens belong to the workspace that issued them and must be stored securely — never in client-side code or public repositories.
• You may only access data belonging to workspaces that have expressly authorised your integration.
• We may rotate, throttle, or revoke credentials to protect the platform; we will give notice where practicable.

2. Data handling obligations

• Data retrieved through the Developer Tools is compliance data — often personal data. Handle it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023: process it only on the authorising organisation's instructions, keep it confidential, and secure it in transit and at rest.
• Retain retrieved data no longer than the integration needs, and delete it on request or when authorisation ends.
• Personal data breaches involving retrieved data must be reported to the affected organisation and to support@yinetai.com without undue delay.

3. What you may not do

• No reselling or sub-licensing raw platform data.
• No using retrieved data to build advertising profiles or to train models without the controller organisation's documented instruction.
• No circumventing rate limits, scoping rules, or security controls, and no misrepresenting your integration as made or endorsed by Yinetai.

4. Branding

You may state factually that your product "integrates with Yinetai". Use of the Yinetai name or logo beyond that requires our written permission. Certified-partner branding is available under a separate partner programme.

5. Support, changes, and termination

Developer Tools are provided "as is"; we version our APIs and aim to give at least 60 days' notice before breaking changes. Either party may terminate integration access with notice; we may suspend immediately for security incidents or breach of this agreement. On termination you must delete retained platform data unless the authorising organisation instructs otherwise.
